Let's start with Gubałówka, a small mountain, which can be reached almost by anyone. There are several possibilities of reaching the top, around 1 hour walk depending on the starting location or a cable railway. It's a good idea to book tickets in advance (via the Internet) so you don't have to wait in a rather long queue on the spot. After reaching the top you are surrounded by magnificent views, you can rest in one of a small cafes or encounter many different attractions, depending on the season.

Another place that no tourist should miss is the Cemetery of Merits on Pęksowe Brzyzko.

A tiny cemetery with many beautiful tombstones and wooden figures located at Kościeliska Street. It's a burial place of many well-known personalities who lived and worked in Zakopane. Nearby is a small wooden church dedicated to Our Lady of Czestochowa where masses are held.

Attraction for those interested in sport who also want to feel a bit of adrenaline is ski jump Wielka Krokiew, dedicated to Stanisław Moniuszko. Fans of our ski jumpers like Adam Malysz, Kamil Stoch and others will definitely be interested in this place. At bottom of ski ump you can buy a ticket and make your way to the very top. See by yourself route that athlete must cover in order to get to the starting bar.

On your way back from Gubałówka or from the ski jump its worth to visit a place that will entertain not only the little ones - Upside down house. A two-story house will turn your world over and make you feel slightly confused.

If you want to go away from a busy street and feel the atmosphere of Zakopane,we invite you for a walk. It might be tiring, but reaching destination will reward all of your efforts. Climax? Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Krzeptówki, built as a votum for saving the life of Pope John Paul II after the assassination on 13 May 1981. Museum of Karol Szymanowski at Villa Atma, one of the greatest Polish composers or Tatra Museum, where you can find interesting geological and ethnographic collections from the entire region, as well as specimens of local flora and fauna. Both located close to each other on your way to Krzeptówki from city center.

Zakopane offers many attractions from various museums, squares, parks and the most spectacular Tatra National Park, which must be visited by every mountains enthusiast.
